Blackboard
Blackboard is an online portal which acts as a gateway to various online courses offered by UMS campuses. Outreach participants enrolled in SPARC courses will use Blackboard. Other professors may elect to use it for their classes as well.
To login to Blackboard navigate to https://www.courses.maine.edu/ and log in using your UMS User ID and password (the same one you use for MaineStreet and your UMS Account email).
Please make sure that you are able to log on to Blackboard by the first day of the course. If you need to have your account reset (see “MaineStreet and your UMS Account” on the previous page for instructions on how this is done), please note that it can take up to 24 hours, so make sure you check on this prior to your class beginning. If you are able to log in but do not see your course listed, contact your professor as soon as possible.
