UMF now offers 500 level graduate courses |
500 Level Graduate Courses. UMF now offers 500 level graduate education course for Pre-K-12 practicing teachers. Some of the courses have been adapted from UMF’s undergraduate offerings by faculty who have been eager to work with teachers to explore their classroom and intellectual needs in more depth. Other 500 level courses are completely new, allowing K-12 teachers and faculty to explore together new issues, new philosophies, and approaches to student learning.Although UMF does not offer a graduate degree, most graduate programs at other universities will allow the transfer of up to six (6) graduate credits into their programs. Teachers wishing to transfer UMF’s 500 level graduate credits into degree programs at other institutions should communicate with advisors or department chairs in those institutions and not assume that all credits will transfer; specific degree programs have specific course requirements, and transferability can never be guaranteed. However, if UMF can help facilitate these conversations in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us. |
